Both companies offer price matching and price adjustment to give their customers the best deal. The Bas Pro price matching policy can be found on their website. Cabela follows similar price match rules as well. They will match the price of an identical product from a store within one-hundred miles of your local Bass Pro Shop or Cabela’s or from a qualifying online retailer website. If you are also a CLUB Member, they will not only match the price, but they will beat it by five percent. Items that a customer requests a price match for must be available in-store or is in-stock on the Bass Pro website. The item must also be the same brand, model, color, size, and quality as the comparable product. During sales Bass Pro will automatically match their own in-store or online price as well.
For making in-store price match requests there are only a few simple steps to follow. The first is to identify the product and check that it is in stock at your local Bass Pro Shop or Cabela’s store or on the website. The next step is to visit the store and present the ad or website with a lower price to one of the store’s Outfitters. If they are able to verify that the product is available and an identical item to the other local retailer’s product, they will sell you the product for the lower price.
Online Price Match Request
For requesting an online price match guarantee the first step is pretty much the same, only you just have to check their website for the product. The next step is simply contacting customer service either by Live Chat or phone. Once you direct the Outfitter to the select online retailer with the lowest price and they are able to verify that it is the same product and that it is available at your local retailer, you will be sold that item for the lower price. Qualifying websites- the following list found on the Bass Pro Shops’ site- including the product’s manufacturing company that will sell directly to consumers, Academy, Amazon, Backcountry, Brownells, Cheaper Than Dirt, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Field & Stream, Gander RV & Outdoors, L.L. Bean, Mack’s Prairie Wings, Midway USA, Optics Planet, REI, Scheels, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Tackle Warehouse, and any Walmart store.
For CLUB Members, they must inform Outfitters of their membership at the time of purchase and use either their CLUB card, points, or gift card to receive the additional five percent off. The additional discount does not apply to price matching Cabela’s store or Bass Pro’s own price matches for in-store or from any select online retailer.
Details And Exceptions
Bass Pro price match excludes “flash sales” or “hot deals” on competitor pricing. They will not price match special offers including mail-in offers, rebates, free items or gift cards with purchase or bundles, special financing, or clearance, liquidation, or wholesales, and sales tax still applies to any promo code or advertised price that you request from your local store. The program also excludes services. The price match guarantee also does not apply to any Bass Pro Shops coupon or coupon from a local competitor that is expired, so be sure to check the date and coupon code before making a price match request at your local store.
Bass Pro price match is offered on nearly all of their products including guns, fishing rods, clothing, and outdoor gear.
